In 1929, on St. Charles Avenue in the heart of New Orleans, the original Compagno's opened its doors. For nearly 70 years, it was a beloved institution — a place where Italian tradition met New Orleans soul, where family recipes passed from one generation to the next filled the dining room with warmth and aroma.
Now, the great-grandson of the original proprietor and his life-long friend are bringing Compagno's back. This time, in Mandeville, Louisiana — with the same family recipes, the same dedication to hospitality, and a fresh menu inspired by both the old country and the Crescent City.
